NC Fights 5 took place at the Spazi Van in Curitiba Brazil in front of another sold out crowd. 5 events, and each one has been a sellout crowd with the box office closing as fans are left without tickets. The main event of NCF 5 saw a new Female Champion crowned as Vanessa Guimaraes picked up a split decision victory over Aline Pires via split decision to earn the NCF Flyweight female world championship.
The Co Main event featured Maicon Bruno facing Alex Ferreira for a chance to prove he should be the next in line to face champion Matheus Henrique Correia. With an impressive display Maicon was able to get the RNC submission at 4:46 of the first round.
